Waveloom is not a BI tool. No charts, no spreadsheets, no dashboards, no SQL. If you want to plot revenue by month, use something built for that.
What Waveloom does is narrower. Your tools each hold a slice of what is going on. Gmail has one conversation, Slack has another, Linear has the ticket, HubSpot has the deal, Calendar has the meeting. Nobody reads across them. Waveloom does, and it lets you ask questions across all of them from one place.
Seeing it work
Silence is hard to trust, so the feed shows its own counts. At the top of the feed: reviewed, surfaced, needed approval. You can see that Waveloom read, say, four hundred things and showed you five. When it shows nothing, you can see it looked.
That is the closest thing Waveloom has to analytics: a count of what it looked at and what it decided was worth your time.
Ask more about a card
Every card can be opened into a thread. The card gives you the one-line reason and the draft. The thread is where you ask what the card did not say. "Who else was on that email?" "Is there a Linear issue for this?" The answer comes back in the thread, with links to the source. Not a report, just a follow-up question on the thing in front of you.
Ask across your tools
Chat can answer questions about anything in your feed or your connected tools. "What did we last say to that customer?" "Which Linear issues moved this week?" "Is there anything from the Munich thread I have not replied to?" It reads across sources and answers with links back to where the information came from.
Chat reads by default. It can look, summarise, and compare. It can also take actions in your connected apps, and every one of those shows you exactly what it is about to do and waits for your approval, the same as a drafted reply.
The daily roll-up
The morning brief is the once-a-day version of the same idea. It summarizes up to 16 selected cards from the last 24 hours, including cards you have already approved and pending approvals among the selection: a short summary, one priority, and a line per source when that helps. If fewer than three cards make the selection and none has a pending approval, there is no brief.
What it is not
- Not dashboards or charts.
- Not spreadsheets or exports.
- Not forecasting or predictions.
- Not a data pipeline. It reads what your tools already hold and does not move data between them.
- Not a metrics tool. The feed's counts are about Waveloom's own work, not your business.
Where this stands
Waveloom is an invite-only founding beta. The feed counts, card threads, chat across connected tools and the morning brief are running today.
