Waveloom for finance founders and operators

For founders and operators at fintechs, funds and finance-adjacent companies. Waveloom reads the operational inbound, surfaces the few threads that need you, and drafts the reply. It gives no investment advice and does no trading.

Finance inbound has a particular texture. Some of it is time-sensitive, most of it is not important, and the two look the same in a list. A bank partner's compliance questionnaire and their holiday newsletter arrive from the same domain. Waveloom tells them apart before you open either.

One line before anything else: Waveloom is not an investment tool. It does not give advice, does not watch markets for trades, and does not execute anything financial. It reads your business inbound and drafts replies you approve.

What your inbound looks like

A banking partner asking for updated KYC documents by a date. An investor asking for the monthly update you have not written. A customer of your fintech reporting a payout that did not land, forwarded by support. A vendor renewal. A candidate for the controller role. A Slack thread in #ops where someone asked a question at 6pm and nobody answered.

Underneath that: statements, receipts, regulatory newsletters, CC threads you are on for no reason.

Sources you would connect

Gmail for partner, investor and vendor traffic. Slack for the ops and finance channels. HubSpot if you run a B2B pipeline. Linear or Notion for the team's project tracker. Google Calendar so meeting changes show up in the feed and the brief. Quiet hours for when you are in board prep.

Web watches for a competitor's pricing page, a regulator's announcements page, or a question like "open banking rule changes in the EU."

Example cards

Invented, but realistic.

Needs you. "Banking partner needs updated KYC docs by the 30th. Third request. Your last reply was 11 days ago." Draft attached, confirming the date and naming who on your side will send them. You edit and approve.

Needs you. "Investor asked for the September update in a reply to the August thread. You told them updates land on the 5th." Draft acknowledges, commits to the 5th. Nothing sends until you press approve.

Discovery. "Watch: competitor pricing. They dropped the per-transaction fee on their starter plan yesterday." No reply needed. One line, one link.

Everything else is dropped. See inbox triage for how the filter decides.

What it will not do for you

It will not tell you what to buy, sell or hold. It will not move money, approve payments, reconcile books, or connect to your bank. It will not send anything on its own. It executes two background actions, reply by email and reply in Slack, both gated behind explicit approval of the exact text. It is not a compliance product and does not satisfy any regulatory obligation on your behalf.

Where this stands

Waveloom is in an invite-only founding beta. The cohort is small and the filter is still being tuned. If you run a finance company and your inbox sets your agenda, the waitlist is at waveloom.ai. The morning brief and Slack mentions pages show the two parts most finance operators ask about first.
