If you run marketing or an agency, you are the person everyone asks. Clients, freelancers, sales, the founder, platform reps. Your inbound is mostly questions, and most of the questions are not for you. Waveloom sorts them so the ones that are reach you as a card, with a draft answer.
It does not do the marketing. No content generation, no campaign management, no posting. It reads and drafts replies. That is the whole scope.
What your inbound looks like
A client asking why last month's numbers dipped, in a reply to a thread from March. A freelancer chasing an invoice. Five Slack mentions across three client channels, two of which were answered by someone else while you were in a meeting. A platform rep pitching a beta. An event organizer asking if you will speak. Weekly digests from every tool you have ever signed up for.
The dangerous ones are the client questions that look small and sit for four days.
Sources you would connect
Gmail for client and partner email. Slack, which for an agency is where most of the real inbound lives. See Slack mentions for what the agent does there. HubSpot for the pipeline. Notion or Linear for the team's project board. Google Calendar so meeting changes show up in the feed and the brief.
Web watches for a competitor agency's case studies page, a client's competitor, or a question like "what is changing in email deliverability this quarter."
Example cards
Invented, but you will recognize them.
Needs you. "Client asked about the September dip in a reply to the March thread. Nobody has answered in 3 days. Their renewal is in October." Draft names the two causes you flagged to Waveloom earlier and proposes a call. You edit, approve, done.
Needs you. "DM from Maya: 'Acme wants the revised deck by Friday, can we commit?' Nobody in #client-acme has answered them." Draft Slack reply to Maya confirms Friday and names your designer. Nothing posts until you approve.
Discovery. "Watch: competitor agency. They published a case study with a client in your target vertical." One card, one link.
Tool digests, event promos, newsletters, CC threads: dropped.
What it will not do for you
It will not write blog posts, ad copy, social captions or email campaigns. It will not schedule or publish anything. It will not run outreach to prospects. It will not manage your ad accounts. It executes two background actions, reply by email and reply in Slack, both only after you approve the exact text. It reads everything first and hands you a short list with answers drafted. It is not a member of the creative team.
Where this stands
Waveloom is in an invite-only founding beta. The cohort is small and the filter is still being tuned. If client threads are running your week, the waitlist is at waveloom.ai. The morning brief shows what the overnight summary looks like.
